Graydon Hall Manor Wedding
On a beautiful sunny day in July, high school sweethearts Amanda and James were married at the historic Graydon Hall Manor in Toronto. Graydon Hall Manor is set overlooking the luscious Don Valley and was the perfect backdrop for this elegant wedding.
Amanda and James chose to have their “first look” in the fountain courtyard. With the calming sounds of the water fountain and the birds chirping, this peaceful setting helped to calm their nerves as Amanda walked towards James in anticipation of seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day!
Amanda and James were married in the stunning manicured gardens of the Manor’s grounds surrounded by their closest family and friends. A guitarist serenaded their guests as the wedding party marched down the aisle. After saying their “I-do’s” Amanda and James radiated pure joy and love as they walked up the aisle together hand-in-hand.
The cocktail hour and reception were both held on the stone terrace that over looks the fountain courtyard and formal gardens of Graydon Hall Manor. We really love when couples decide to have all components of their wedding at one location. Not only does it provide them more time together with the people who matter most, but it also gives us the opportunity to take more photos and capture not only the significant events, but all the small intimate moments as well. It is usually these unexpected candid shots that our couples end up loving the most!
The crisp, classic white décor juxtaposed the natural stone of the Manor, and the lush trees and gardens surrounding the terrace made an incredibly romantic setting for a wedding reception. Following dinner, Amanda and James shared their first dance under the moonlight as their guests looked on. This incredibly romantic moment was our favourite. The love so raw, so tender, so palpable. The party then continued in the Great Hall as the guests danced the night away!
We had such a blast getting to know Amanda and James leading up to the wedding. They are such fun loving people and we are so honoured they chose us to capture this momentous occasion!
