Our Lady of Sorrows Church Wedding
Anand and Diana were married at Our Lady of Sorrows church in the Kingsway Village of Toronto this past Saturday. With its beautiful stone exterior and one-of-a-kind bronze doors, this church has been a staple in the community for almost 80 years.
The couple decided not to do a first look before the ceremony, and as Diana walked down the aisle, both Anand and Diana beamed at the sight of one another. Presiding over the ceremony was the groom’s uncle, a personal touch that made the moment even more special as he proudly announced Anand and Diana husband and wife!
When Anand and Diana met, they bonded over their love for period dramas (who else is obsessed with Downton Abbey and The Crown?!) The backdrop of the Mississauga Convention Centre perfectly accented this vintage glam theme. Accented with beautiful floral arrangements, and the most gorgeous wedding cake, the reception screamed Diana and Anand. Speaking of the cake, let’s just talk about that for a minute. All I can say is WOW! Influenced and designed by an impressionist artist, this cake was literally a piece of art. Words do not do it justice, you just need to scroll down and take a look at the photos!
Diana and Anand are super close with their families and this was evident throughout their entire reception. Anand’s brother and sister surprised the couple by performing a song, while Diana’s twin brother’s speech brought her to tears. After the father-daughter and mother-son dances, the dance floor officially opened and the guests danced the night away!
I had such a blast photographing Anand and Diana’s special wedding. They are such a sweet couple and I couldn’t think of a better way to start of the 2018 wedding season!
